导语Lexus unveiled its first MPV at the Shanghai International Auto Show this year, the LM. It is reported that Lexus LM will start pre-sale on January 10, 2020, and will go on-sale on February 24. The new car adopts Lexus's classic exterior design, with two versions of four and seven seats.
The front end of the Lexus LM follows a family-style "spindle" design, and the eye-catching large-size grille is embellished with chrome. LED daytime running lights are also added to the inner corners of the headlights on both sides. The fog lights on both sides of the front bumper of the new car adopt a "scythe" shape, creating a fierce and domineering character.
The overall design of the Lexus LM is similar to that of the Toyota Alphard. The side shape is square to further protect the interior space of the car. The body's A-pillar is designed with a large inclination angle, and two “inverted hook” -shaped chrome trims are added to the upper and lower sides of the side window, which shows the luxurious atmosphere while improving the recognition of the entire vehicle. The body length, width and height are 5,040mm, 1,850mm, 1,945mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 3,000mm.
The Lexus LM has two-color versions featuring full black and black and white, and is available in dual-row 4-seater and three-row 7-seater versions. The seven-seat version uses a 2-2-3 seat layout. The Lexus LM 300h will be equipped with the same 2.5-liter gasoline-electric hybrid system as the Alphard or Vellfire dual engines.
