Benz to add 120k NEVs in China, first are two pure electric SUVs

IIA learned from Beijing Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau that Beijing Benz Automotive Co.,Ltd. (BBAC) plans to rebuild a new automobile factory for the production of pure electric vehicles. After the completion of the factory renovation, it will mainly produce EQC and EQB five-seat and seven-seat models,of which EQC has an annual production capacity of 15,000 units,EQB five-seat and seven-seat versions with annual production capacity of 65,000 and 40,000 units respectively. In addition, EQC will be available in the next Q4.

The MARVEL X, a new SAIC Roewe pure electric SUV, was officially announced its price at this year's Chengdu Auto Show opening day.
