: Leading Ideal One, a luxury EREV SUV priced less than 400k

On this October 10, Chinese electric vehicle (EV) start-up CHJ Automotive officially released their product brand " Leading Ideal", and its first model, Leading Ideal One, was officially unveiled on October 18. Different from other models launched by emerging EV start-ups, Leading Ideal ONE adopts a range-extended electric system that rare adopted in China. According to Li Xiang, founder and chairman and CEO of CHJ, Leading Ideal One will begin its reservation during the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show and will be delivered in the next Q4, with its price less than RMB 400,000yuan (approx. USD 57,668) without subsidies.

: Roewe Marvel X released and delivered simultaneously on Sept. 30

The MARVEL X, a new SAIC Roewe pure electric SUV, was officially announced its price at this year's Chengdu Auto Show opening day. The new car boasts two versions with their subsidized MSRP prices were 268,800 RMB and 308,800 RMB yuan (approx. US$39,138 and US$ 44,962) respectively. On September 30, Netcom learned from SAIC Roewe that the MARVEL X was officially launched and began to be delivered. The new car is equipped with a ternary lithium battery and has a cruising range of up to 500 kilometers.

: Mercedes-Benz revealed first pure electric EQ C

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the first of up to 10 new pure electric models currently under development at its engineering headquarters in Germany and planned for sale before the end of 2025 with the unveiling of its eagerly-awaited EQ C at a media event held in Stockholm, Sweden. Key rival to the newly-introduced Jaguar I-Pace, soon-to-be-revealed Audi e-tron Quattro and an upcoming production version of the BMW iX3 concept, the new five-seat SUV is the first electric-powered Mercedes-Benz model to be placed into series production, following on from limited volume B-class Electric Drive and SLS Electric Drive.
